and all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sits on his throne, even to the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill, as well as all the firstborn of beasts.

He also struck all the firstborn in their land, the first fruit of all their strength.

It is He who struck down the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast;

to Him who struck down the firstborn of Egypt, for His mercy endures forever;

and struck down all the firstborn in Egypt, the first fruits of their strength in the tents of Ham.

Take the millstones and grind meal. Uncover your veil, strip off the skirt, uncover the leg, pass over the rivers.

Young men ground at the millstones; boys staggered under loads of wood.

Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken, and the other left.

By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest the one who destroys the firstborn touch them.

The Philistines seized him and gouged out his eyes. They took him down to Gaza, bound him with bronze chains, and he ground grain in prison.
