All the people who came from the seed of Jacob were seventy people, but Joseph was in Egypt already.

Your fathers went down into Egypt with seventy people, and now the Lord your God has made you as numerous as the stars of heaven.

Gideon had seventy sons, for he had many wives.

Therefore God dealt well with the midwives, and the people multiplied and grew very mighty.

Then Joseph sent and called for his father Jacob and all his kindred, seventy-five souls.

Joseph stayed in Egypt, he and his father’s household, and Joseph lived one hundred and ten years.
