For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.

Then Adam said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she will be called Woman, for she was taken out of Man.”

so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and all are parts of one another.

Do you not know that your bodies are the parts of Christ? Shall I then take the parts of Christ and make them the parts of a harlot? God forbid!

which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all things in all ways.

For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord cares for the church.

and not supporting the head, from which the entire body, nourished and knit together by joints and sinews, grows as God gives the increase.
