For the word of God is alive, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intents of the heart.

But his bow remained firm. His arms were agile because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the rock of Israel,

It is better for a man to hear the rebuke of the wise than to listen to the song of fools.

The words from the mouth of a wise person bring favor, but the lips of a fool consume him.

The lips of the righteous feed many, but fools die for lack of wisdom.
