By slothfulness the rafters cave in, and by the idleness of one’s hands the house drips.

The hand of the diligent will rule, but the lazy will be put to forced labor.

The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish woman pulls it down with her hands.

The sluggard will not plow in season; he will beg at harvest and have nothing.

The desire of the sluggard kills him, for his hands refuse to work.

for the drunkard and the glutton will come to poverty, and drowsiness will clothe them with rags.

We desire that every one of you show the same diligence for the full assurance of hope to the end,
