The sun comes up and the sun goes down, and to the place where it rises, the sun again hurries away.

While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night will not cease.”

As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants for You, O God.

until an arrow pierces his liver; as a bird darting into the snare, he did not know that it would cost him his life.

Thus says the Lord: If you can break My covenant of the day and My covenant of the night so that there should not be day and night in their season,

The sun and moon stood still in their places; at the light of Your arrows they went, at the flash of Your glittering spear.
