And may no one enter the house of the Lord except the priests and those Levites who are serving. Those can enter because they are holy, but all the people will keep their assigned duty of the Lord.

The governor advised them not to eat of the most holy things until a priest consulted with the Urim and Thummim.

He called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the contending of the Israelites, and because they tested the Lord, saying, “Is the Lord among us, or not?”

You shall put the Urim and the Thummim in the breastplate of judgment, and they shall be over Aaron’s heart when he goes in before the Lord. And Aaron shall bear the judgment of the Israelites over his heart before the Lord continually.

You shall make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it, like the engravings of a signet, holiness to the lord.

They shall not take a wife who is a whore or has been defiled, nor shall they take a woman divorced from her husband, for he is holy unto his God.

He put the breastplate on him. He also put the Urim and the Thummim in the breastplate.

True instruction was in his mouth, and injustice was not found on his lips. He walked with Me in peace and with uprightness, and turned many away from iniquity.

and he spoke to Korah and to all his company, saying, “In the morning the Lord will show who is His and who is holy, and He will bring him to come near to Him. Whom He has chosen He will bring near to Him.

This is the water of Meribah because the Israelites argued with the Lord, and He was sanctified among them.

“Aaron will be gathered to his people because he will not enter into the land which I have given to the Israelites because you rebelled against Me at the water of Meribah.

He will stand before Eleazar the priest, who will ask for him about the judgment of the Urim before the Lord. At his word will they go out, and at his word they will come in, both he and all the Israelites with him, even all the assembly.”

The cities which you shall give shall be from the possession of the Israelites. From the larger tribes you shall give many, and from the smaller tribes you shall give few. Each tribe, in proportion to the inheritance that it receives, shall give of its cities to the Levites.

You shall not tempt the Lord your God, as you tempted Him in Massah.

who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers did not know, that He might humble you and that He might prove you, to do good for you in the end.

Also at Taberah and at Massah and at Kibroth Hattaavah you provoked the Lord to wrath.

For such a High Priest was fitting for us, for He is holy, innocent, undefiled, separate from sinners, and is higher than the heavens.
