Do not fear them, for the Lord your God, He shall fight for you.”

I pleaded with the Lord at that time, saying,

Joshua captured all these kings and their land in one campaign because the Lord God of Israel waged war for Israel.

One man from among you can make a thousand flee, for it is the Lord your God who wages war for you, as He told you.
