But you must have a perfect and just weight—a perfect and just measure you must have, so that your days may be lengthened in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

Who is the man who desires life, and loves many days that he may see good?

Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

You shall have just balances and a just ephah and a just bath.

You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment regarding measures in length, weight, or quantity.

saying, “When will the New Moon be over, so that we may sell grain? And the Sabbath, that we may open the wheat sales, making the ephah too small, and the shekel too heavy, cheating with dishonest scales,

“so that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.”

and that you may prolong your days in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give to them and to their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.

that his heart will not be lifted up above his brothers and so that he may not turn aside from the commandment, to the right or to the left, to the end, so that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he and his children, in the midst of Israel.

You must not have in your house differing measures, a large and a small.

Therefore, you shall keep His statutes and His commandments which I command you this day, so that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and so that you may prolong your days in the land, which the Lord your God gives you, forever.

Honor your father and your mother, just as the Lord your God has commanded you, that your days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

You shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.

You shall do what is right and good in the sight of the Lord that it may be well with you and that you may go in and possess the good land which the Lord swore to your fathers,

For “He who would love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit.
