When you do lend your brother anything, you may not go into his house to take his pledge.
But you shall open your hand wide to him and must surely lend him what is sufficient for his need, in that which he lacks.
for that is his only covering; it is his garment for his body. In what else will he sleep? And when he cries out to Me, I will hear, for I am gracious.
If you take your neighbor’s garment as a pledge, you shall return it to him before the sun goes down,
You must stand outside, and the man to whom you lend must bring the pledge outside to you.
For you have taken a pledge from your brother for nothing, and stripped the naked of their clothing.
