And when the Lord your God has delivered it into your hands, you are to slay every male there with the edge of the sword.

The Lord said to my lord, “Sit at My right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.”

But as for those enemies of mine, who would not let me reign over them, bring them here and slay them before me.’ ”

If it will not make peace with you but makes war against you, then you are to besiege it.
