Lord, I have loved the habitation of Your house, and the place where Your glory dwells.

One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.

For a day in Your courtyards is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.

But you must seek only the place which the Lord your God shall choose out of all your tribes to establish His name, and there you must go.

Therefore, you must sacrifice the Passover to the Lord your God, from the flock or the herd, in the place where the Lord shall choose to place His name.

then he shall minister in the name of the Lord his God, as all his brothers the Levites do, who stand there before the Lord.

This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the office of an overseer, he desires a good work.

Shepherd the flock of God that is among you, take care of them, not by constraint, but willingly, not for dishonest gain, but eagerly.
