When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am Almighty God. Walk before Me and be blameless.

These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a just man and blameless among his contemporaries. Noah walked with God.

Let your hearts, therefore, be perfect with the Lord our God, to walk in His statutes and keep His commandments, as at this day.”

There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job. That man was blameless and upright, fearing God and avoiding evil.

And the Lord said to the Adversary, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and an upright man, who fears God, and avoids evil?”

Mark the blameless man, and behold the upright, for there is a future for the man of peace.

Therefore be complete, even as your Father who is in heaven is complete.

Not that I have already attained or have already been perfected, but I follow after it so that I may lay hold of that for which I was seized by Christ Jesus.

Therefore let those of us who are mature be thus minded. And if you think differently in any way, God will reveal even this to you.

“Now fear the Lord, and serve Him with sincerity and faithfulness. Put away the gods your fathers served beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord.

Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain but are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfected before God.
