You must keep the Feast of Weeks to the Lord your God with a tribute of a freewill offering from your hand, which you must give to the Lord your God, in proportion to how much the Lord your God has blessed you.

You shall count seven full weeks from the next day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf bundle of the wave offering.

If the man has none to redeem it, but he himself is able to redeem it,

If he cannot afford an animal, then he shall bring for his guilt offering, on account of the sin that he committed, two turtledoves or two pigeons to the Lord, one for a sin offering and one for a burnt offering.

And on the day of the firstfruits, when you bring a new grain offering to the Lord at your Feast of Weeks, you will have a holy assembly. You will do no ordinary work.

And levy a tribute to the Lord from the fighting men of Israel who went out to battle: one person out of five hundred, of the people and of the oxen, and of the donkeys, and of the sheep;

And the Lord’s tribute of the sheep was six hundred and seventy-five.

On the first day of the week let every one of you lay in store, as God has prospered him, so that no collections be made when I come.

And in this matter I give my advice. It is appropriate for you, who began last year not only to give, but also to willingly give.

For if there is a willing mind first, the gift is accepted according to what a man possesses and not according to what he does not possess.

You shall rejoice before the Lord your God—you, your son, your daughter, your male servant, your female servant, the Levite who is within your gates, the foreigner, the orphan, and the widow who are among you—in the place where the Lord your God has chosen to place His name.

You must count seven weeks for yourself. Begin counting the seven weeks from the time you begin to put the sickle to the standing grain.
