For the Lord your God will bless you, just as He promised you, and you will lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. You will reign over many nations, but they will not reign over you.

Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the Euphrates River to the land of the Philistines and to the border of Egypt. The people brought presents and served Solomon all the days of his life.

For he had dominion over all the region on this side of the River from Tiphsah to Gaza, over all the kings on this side of the River, and he had peace on all borders of his land.

Now, You have been pleased to bless the house of Your servant that it may be forever before You. For You, O  Lord, have blessed it, and it shall be blessed forever.”

He ruled over all the kings from the Euphrates River to the land of the Philistines and to the border of Egypt.

There have also been mighty kings over Jerusalem, who have ruled over the whole province Beyond the River, and toll, tribute, and custom was paid to them.

Therefore You delivered them into the hand of their enemies, who afflicted them. When they cried to You in the time of their affliction, You heard from heaven, and, according to Your abundant mercy, You gave them deliverers who delivered them out of the hand of their enemies.

It is well with the man who is gracious and lends; he will guide his affairs with justice.

The wicked borrows and does not repay, but the righteous is generous and gives.

The righteous is ever generous and lends, and his descendants become a blessing.

The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is the slave of the lender.

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return. Then your reward will be great, and you will be the sons of the Highest. For He is kind to the unthankful and the evil.

if only you carefully obey the voice of the Lord your God, by carefully observing all these commandments which I command you today.

He will lend to you, but you will not lend to him. He will be the head, but you will be the tail.
