You must not eat it. You must pour it on the ground like water.

As a continual statute for your generations in all your settlements, you shall not eat any fat or any blood.

only you must not eat the blood. You shall pour it on the ground like water.

Only be sure that you do not eat the blood, for the blood is the life, and you may not eat the life with the meat.

You must not eat it, so that it may go well with you and with your children after you, when you do that which is right in the sight of the Lord.
