For the land which you are entering to possess is not like the land of Egypt from where you came, where you sowed your seed and watered it with your foot like a vegetable garden,

and the pillars of Egypt shall be crushed. All the hired workers shall be grieved in soul.

I have dug wells and drunk water, and with the sole of my feet I have dried up all the rivers of Egypt.’

If the family of Egypt does not go up and enter in, they shall have no rain. This will be the plague with which the Lord strikes the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.

but the land, which you are entering to possess, is a land of hills and valleys and drinks water from the rain of heaven,

and that you may prolong your days in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give to them and to their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.

For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs that flow out of valleys and hills,
