The Lord your God has multiplied you, and behold, you are this day as numerous as the stars of heaven.

Your fathers went down into Egypt with seventy people, and now the Lord your God has made you as numerous as the stars of heaven.

You will be left few in number, whereas you were as numerous as the stars of heaven, because you would not obey the voice of the Lord your God.

May the Lord, the God of your fathers, make you a thousand times more numerous and bless you, just as He has promised you!

Then you must answer and say before the Lord your God, “A wandering Aramean was my father, and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with only a few in number, but there he became a great, mighty, and populous nation.

He also blesses them, and they multiply greatly; and He does not let their livestock decrease.

Look to Abraham your father and to Sarah who bore you; for I called him alone, and blessed him, and multiplied him.

I have caused you to multiply as the bud of the field, and you have increased and become tall, and you have reached the age of fine ornaments. Your breasts were fashioned and your hair had grown, yet you were naked and bare.
