“Strive to enter through the narrow gate. For many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able.

So I have strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, so that I should not build on another man’s foundation.

Now I ask you, brothers, through the Lord Jesus Christ and through the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf,

But that one and very same Spirit works all these, dividing to each one individually as He will.

There are various activities, but it is the same God who operates all of them in all people.

But by the grace of God I am what I am. And His grace toward me was not in vain. I labored more abundantly than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Are they servants of Christ? I speak as a fool. I am more: in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, often facing death.

since you seek proof of Christ speaking through me, who toward you is not weak, but is mighty in you.

So whether present or absent, we labor that we may be accepted by Him.

in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, and in hunger;

and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power,

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly beyond all that we ask or imagine, according to the power that works in us,

Of this I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power.

Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, that whether or not I come and see you, I may hear of your activities, that you are standing fast in one spirit, with one mind, striving together for the faith of the gospel,

having the same conflict which you saw in me and now hear is in me.

For God is the One working in you, both to will and to do His good pleasure.

Hold forth the word of life that I may rejoice on the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.

I would like you to know what a great struggle I am having for you, and for those at Laodicea, and for everyone who has not seen my face in the body,

buried with Him in baptism, in which also you were raised with Him through the faith of the power of God, who has raised Him from the dead.

Epaphras greets you. He is one of you, a servant of Christ, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand mature and complete in the entire will of God.

For you remember, brothers, our labor and toil. Laboring night and day so as not to be an expense to any of you, we preached to you the gospel of God.

neither did we eat anyone’s bread without paying for it, but we worked tirelessly and toiled night and day that we might not be a burden to any of you.

Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

You have not yet resisted to bloodshed while striving against sin.

make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

You have endured, and have been patient, and for My name’s sake have labored and have not grown weary.
