Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake and fill up in my flesh that which is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church.

Then they departed from the presence of the Sanhedrin, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name.

For this reason I, Paul, am the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles.
Therefore I ask you not to lose heart at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
to know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,
He is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that in all things He may have the preeminence.
So do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me, His prisoner. But share in the sufferings of the gospel by the power of God,
My brothers, count it all joy when you fall into diverse temptations,
