Thus says the Lord: For three transgressions of Tyre, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because they delivered up an entire deportation to Edom, and did not remember the covenant of kinship.

But I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon on the Day of Judgment than for you.

“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon which have been done for you, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.

But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you.
