“Indeed, all the prophets since Samuel and those who follow, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold these days.
Moses and Aaron were among His priests, and Samuel was among those who called upon His name. They called upon the Lord, and He answered them.
Then the Lord said to me: Even though Moses and Samuel were to stand before Me, yet My heart would not be with this people. Cast them out of My sight and let them go!
And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He explained to them the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures.
“After about four hundred and fifty years, God gave them judges until Samuel the prophet.
explaining and proving that the Christ had to suffer and to rise from the dead, and saying, “This Jesus, whom I preach to you, is the Christ.”
that the Christ must suffer, that He would be the first who would rise from the dead, and would announce light to His own people and to the Gentiles.”
Therefore repent and be converted, that your sins may be wiped away, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,
whom the heavens must receive until the time of restoring what God spoke through all His holy prophets since the world began.
But now, apart from the law, the righteousness of God is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets.
But Samuel ministered before the Lord, as a boy, wearing a linen ephod.
Now the boy Samuel was ministering to the Lord before Eli. And the word of the Lord was rare in those days. There was no vision coming forth.
All Israel from Dan even to Beer-sheba knew that Samuel was proven to be a prophet of the Lord.
