But rise and stand on your feet. For I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a servant and a witness both of what you have seen and of what I will yet reveal to you.

He said to me, “O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for I have been sent to you now.” And when he had spoken this word to me, I stood trembling.

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful and appointed me to the ministry.

For I neither received it from man, neither was I taught it, except by a revelation of Jesus Christ.

But be self-controlled in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, and prove your ministry.

If you remind the brothers of these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished by the words of faith and of good teaching, which you have followed closely.

We sent Timothy, who is our brother and minister of God and our fellow laborer in the gospel of Christ, to establish and comfort you with regard to your faith,

And you also learned of Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ for you,

All this is from God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation,

Therefore, since we have this ministry through the mercy we have received, we do not lose heart.

Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for the obedience of faith among all nations for His name,

“I said, ‘What shall I do, Lord?’ “The Lord said to me, ‘Rise and go into Damascus. There you will be told what you have been appointed to do.’

He greeted them and recounted one by one what God had done among the Gentiles through his ministry.

But none of these things deter me. Nor do I count my life of value to myself, so that I may joyfully finish my course and the ministry which I have received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

But we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”

to take the place in this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, to go to his own place.”

For he was numbered with us and took part in this ministry.”
