Then the officials and all the people said to the priests and to the prophets, “This man is not worthy of death, for he has spoken to us in the name of the Lord our God.”

and said to them, “You have brought this Man to me as one who incites the people. And behold, having examined Him before you, I have found no fault in this Man concerning those things of which you accuse Him.

Then Pilate said to the chief priests and to the people, “I find no fault in this Man.”

Pilate said to Him, “What is truth?” When he had said this, he went out again to the Jews and said to them, “I find no guilt in Him at all.

I found him being accused of controversial matters about their law, but charged with nothing worthy of death or imprisonment.

There was a great outcry. The scribes that were from the sect of Pharisees stood up and argued, “We find no evil in this man. But if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him, let us not fight against God.”

But I have nothing to write to my lord concerning him. Therefore I have brought him before you, and especially before you, King Agrippa, so that after the examination has taken place, I might have something to write.

When they had gone aside, they said to one another, “This man is doing nothing deserving death or imprisonment.”

When it was decided that we should sail to Italy, they delivered Paul and certain other prisoners to a centurion named Julius, of the Augustan Regiment.

When they had examined me, they were determined to release me, because there was no charge against me deserving death.
