Accompanying him to Asia were Sopater of Berea, and Aristarchus and Secundus of Thessalonica, Gaius of Derbe, and Timothy, and Tychicus and Trophimus of Asia.

But as the disciples gathered around him, he rose up and went into the city. The next day he departed with Barnabas for Derbe.

they learned of it and fled to Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and to the surrounding region.

Then he came to Derbe and then to Lystra. A disciple was there, named Timothy, the son of a Jewish woman who believed, but his father was a Greek.

They went through the region of Phrygia and Galatia and were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia.

When they had traveled through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a synagogue of the Jews.

But when the Jews of Thessalonica learned that the word of God was preached by Paul at Berea, they came there also, stirring up the crowds.

The city was filled with confusion. And in unison they seized Gaius and Aristarchus, Paul’s traveling companions from Macedonia, and rushed into the theater.

Erastus remained at Corinth, and I have left Trophimus ill in Miletus.

When I send Artemas or Tychicus to you, be diligent to come to me in Nicopolis, for I have decided to spend the winter there.

as do Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke, my fellow laborers.
