We went ahead to the ship and sailed to Assos, intending to take Paul on board there. For he had arranged this, intending to go on foot.

When He had sent them away, He departed to a mountain to pray.

In the morning, rising up a great while before sunrise, He went out and departed to a solitary place. And there He prayed.

After he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go into Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them.

These men went forward and waited for us at Troas.

They took the lad in alive and were greatly comforted.

When he met us at Assos, we took him on board and went to Mitylene.
