Therefore he disputed in the synagogue with the Jews and the devout persons, and in the marketplace daily with those who happened to be there.

He arrived at Ephesus and left them there. But he himself went into the synagogue and lectured the Jews.

And you see and hear, not only at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, that this Paul has persuaded and turned away many people, saying that these things made by hands are not gods.

He went into the synagogue and spoke boldly for three months, lecturing and persuading concerning the kingdom of God.

Then Agrippa said to Paul, “You almost persuade me to be a Christian.”

When they had arranged a day to be with him, many came to him at his residence. From morning until evening he explained and solemnly testified of the kingdom of God to them, persuading them concerning Jesus from both the Law of Moses and the Prophets.

Immediately he preached in the synagogues that the Christ is the Son of God.

Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade men. But we are revealed to God, and I trust we are also revealed in your consciences.
