When they had traveled through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a synagogue of the Jews.

At Iconium they entered the synagogue of the Jews together and so spoke that a great crowd of both Jews and Greeks believed.

For Moses has had in every city since early generations those who preach him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”

On the Sabbath we went out of the city to a riverside, where prayer was customarily offered. And we sat down and spoke to the women who had assembled.

Boarding a ship from Adramyttium, we put out to sea, meaning to sail along the coasts of Asia. Aristarchus, a Macedonian of Thessalonica, was with us.

Even in Thessalonica, you sent aid once and again for my necessity,

Paul, Silas, and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

But even after we had previously suffered and were shamefully treated at Philippi, as you know, we were bold in our God to declare to you the gospel of God amid much opposition.

Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world, and has departed to Thessalonica, Crescens to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia.
