God has fulfilled to us, their children, raising Jesus. As it is written in the second Psalm: ‘You are My Son; today I have become Your Father.’
I will declare the decree of the Lord: He said to me, “You are My son; today have I begotten you.
Therefore, when He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them. And they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had spoken.
But God raised Him from the dead,
That He raised Him from the dead, no more to return to corruption, He has spoken in this way: ‘I will give You the holy and sure blessings of David.’
But He whom God raised up saw no decay.
whom God raised up by loosening the pull of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.
God raised up this Jesus, of which we all are witnesses.
Immediately he preached in the synagogues that the Christ is the Son of God.
So also Christ did not glorify Himself to be made a High Priest, but it was He who said to Him: “You are My Son; today I have become Your Father.”
