When he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they met with the church and taught a considerable crowd. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.

Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God because of it.

Then Agrippa said to Paul, “You almost persuade me to be a Christian.”

But the anointing which you have received from Him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. For as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and just as it has taught you, remain in Him.

If you are reproached because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.

Therefore if the whole church assembles in one place and all speak with tongues, and those who are unlearned or unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your mind?

For as the body is one and has many parts, and all the many parts of that one body are one body, so also is Christ.

When they had appointed elders for them in every church, with prayer and fasting, they commended them to the Lord in whom they believed.

In these days prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch.

News of these things came to the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas to Antioch.

Some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who, when they had come to Antioch, spoke to the Hellenists, preaching the Lord Jesus.

And what was said pleased the whole multitude, and they chose Stephen, who was a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and Philip, and Procorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas, a proselyte from Antioch,

You shall leave your name for a curse to My chosen ones; for the Lord God shall slay you, but My servants shall be called by another name;

Both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.

In those days Peter stood up among the disciples (the number of people together was about one hundred and twenty), and said,

And there they stayed a long time with the disciples.

When Apollos intended to pass into Achaia, the brothers wrote to encourage the disciples to welcome him. On arriving, he greatly helped those who had believed through grace.

But when some were hardened and did not believe, but spoke evil of the Way before the crowd, he withdrew from them and took the disciples, lecturing daily in the school of Tyrannus.

After the uproar ceased, Paul summoned the disciples and embraced them and departed for Macedonia.

Even from among you men will arise speaking perverse things, to draw the disciples away after them.

When we found the disciples, we remained there seven days. They told Paul through the Spirit not to go up to Jerusalem.

Do they not blaspheme that worthy name by which you are called?
