Now all his servants passed on beside him, all the Kerethites, all the Pelethites, and all the Gittites, six hundred men who had followed him from Gath, passed on before the king.
The men of Joab went out after him, along with the Kerethites, the Pelethites, and all of the warriors; and they went out from Jerusalem to pursue after Sheba the son of Bichri.

Benaiah son of Jehoiada was the son of a valiant man from Kabzeel, who had done many deeds. He killed two Moabite warriors. Indeed, once he went down into a well and struck a lion on a snowy day.
therefore thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will stretch out My hand against the Philistines and will cut off the Kerethites and destroy the remnant of the seacoast.
Woe to the inhabitants of the seacoast, the nation of Kerethites! The word of the Lord is against you, O Canaan, land of the Philistines: I will destroy you, so that there will be no inhabitant.
