I have been with you wherever you have gone, and I have cut off all of your enemies before you. I will make your name great, like the great ones across the land.

David went on and became great, because the Lord, the God of Hosts, was with him.

and I have been with you wherever you went, and I have cut off all your enemies from before you. Also I will make your name like the names of the greatest on earth.

Then the commanders of the Philistines went out to make war. And when they went out David was more successful than all the servants of Saul, so that his name was highly honored.

I crushed them like the dust of the land, like the mud of the streets, I ground them and stamped them down.

For You have made him most blessed forever; You have made him glad with the joy of Your presence.
