David went up the ascent of the Mount of Olives, weeping as he went. His head was covered and he went barefoot. Then all of the people who were with him each covered his head and went up, weeping as they went.

According to His custom, He came out and went to the Mount of Olives. And His disciples followed Him.

Then they returned to Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives, which is a Sabbath day’s walk from Jerusalem.

Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.

If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts rejoice with it.
