The king of Israel sent word to the place of which the man of God spoke. He warned him and was on his guard there more than once.

Then he counted the young leaders of the provinces, and they were two hundred and thirty-two, and after them he counted all the people, all the Israelites, and had seven thousand.

Now Elisha had become sick with the illness of which he would die. So Joash the king of Israel went down to him and wept before him, and said, “My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen.”

Elisha was watching and crying, “My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!” And he did not see him again. Then he grabbed his own clothes and tore them in two pieces.

So he went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, according to the word of the man of God, and his flesh returned like the flesh of a little boy, and he was clean.

The mind of the king of Aram was troubled by this, so he called his servants and said to them, “Will you not tell me who among us sides with the king of Israel?”

But the man of God sent word to the king of Israel, saying, “Take care not to pass through this place, for the Arameans are marching down there.”

So they rose up early in the morning and went out to the Wilderness of Tekoa. And when they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Listen to me, Judah and those dwelling in Jerusalem. Believe in the Lord your God, and you will be supported. Believe His prophets, and you will succeed.”

A prudent man sees evil and hides himself, but the simple pass on, and are punished.

The Lord has made it known to me and I knew it; then You showed me their deeds.

But being warned in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they returned to their own country by another route.

But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said to them, “You brood of vipers, who has warned you to escape from the wrath to come?

saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul. You must stand before Caesar. And behold, God has given you all those who sail with you.’

By faith Noah, being divinely warned about things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark to save his family, by which he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.
