2 John 1:12

I have many things to write to you, but I prefer not to write with papyrus and ink. Instead, I hope to come to you and speak face to face that our joy may be complete.

“I have yet many things to tell you, but you cannot bear them now.

I have spoken these things to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.

Face to face I speak with him clearly, and not in riddles, and the likeness of the Lord will he behold. Then why were you not afraid to speak against My servant, against Moses?”

We are writing these things to you so that our joy may be complete.

But I implore you to pray, that I may be restored to you very soon.

He who has the bride is the bridegroom. But the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly at the bridegroom’s voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled.

Because of this, if I come, I will bring up what kinds of works he does: ranting against us with malicious words. Not content with that, he does not accept the brothers, and stops those who want to, and throws them out of the church.
