Therefore, since we have this ministry through the mercy we have received, we do not lose heart.

Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall,

but those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint.

You said, “Alas, woe is me! For the Lord has added grief to my sorrow. I fainted in my sighing, and I find no rest.”

He told them a parable to illustrate that it is necessary always to pray and not lose heart.

Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom you believed, even as the Lord gave to each one?

Now concerning those not having married, I have no command from the Lord. Yet I will give my judgment as one who has obtained mercy from the Lord to be faithful.

Seeing then that we have such hope, we speak with great boldness,

who has made us able ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

For this reason we do not lose heart: Even though our outward man is perishing, yet our inward man is being renewed day by day.

All this is from God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation,

And let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not give up.

Therefore I ask you not to lose heart at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

I can do all things, because of Christ who strengthens me.

But you, brothers, do not be weary in doing good.

I was previously a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and an insolent man. But I was shown mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and your hearts give up.

In times past, you were not a people, but now you are the people of God. You had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

You have endured, and have been patient, and for My name’s sake have labored and have not grown weary.
