Of such a person, I will boast. Yet of myself I will not boast, except in my weaknesses.

to fulfill what was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.”

I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling.

If I must boast, I will boast of the things which concern my weakness.

Doubtless it is not profitable for me to boast. So I will move on to visions and revelations of the Lord.
