King Solomon made two hundred large shields of hammered gold, and six hundred pieces of gold were used for each large shield.
He took away all the treasures of the house of the Lord and the treasures of the king’s house, even all the shields of gold which Solomon had made.
In addition to what the explorers and merchants brought in, all the kings of Arabia and governors of the land brought in gold and silver to Solomon.
And he made three hundred shields of hammered gold; three hundred pieces of gold were used for each shield. And the king put them in the House of the Forest of Lebanon.
Their buds and their branches shall be of the same piece, all of it shall be one hammered work of pure gold.
