2 Chronicles 30:9

Because if you return to the Lord, your brothers and children will find compassion before those who have taken them captive, in order to return you to this land. For the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn His face from you if you all return to Him.”

They refused to obey and were not mindful of Your wonders that You performed among them. But they hardened their necks and in their rebellion appointed a leader to return to their bondage. Nevertheless, for the sake of Your abundant mercy, You did not completely destroy them or forsake them. Indeed, You are a gracious and merciful God.

He also caused them to be pitied by all those who carried them away captive.

He has made His wonderful works to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and compassionate.

But You, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger and abundant in mercy and truth.

For You, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in mercy to all who call on You.

He who conceals his sins will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will find mercy.

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.

I will scatter them before the enemy as with an east wind; I will show them the back and not the face in the day of their calamity.

He prayed to the Lord and said, “O  Lord! Is this not what I said while I was still in my own land? This is the reason that I fled before to Tarshish, because I knew that You are a gracious God and merciful, slow to anger, abundant in faithfulness, and ready to relent from punishment.

Who is a God like You, bearing iniquity and passing over transgression for the remnant of His inheritance? He does not remain angry forever, because He delights in benevolence.

When all these things happen to you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you remember them among all the nations, where the Lord your God has driven you,

(for the Lord your God is a merciful God), He will not abandon you or destroy you or forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore to them.
