These are the foundation measurements that Solomon used for building the house of God. The cubit length in the former standard measure was sixty cubits and the width twenty cubits.
In the four hundred and eightieth year after the Israelites came out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Israel, in the month Ziv (which is the second month), he began to build the house of the Lord.
The width of the door was ten cubits. And the sides of the door were five cubits on the one side and five cubits on the other side. And he measured its length, forty cubits, and the width, twenty cubits.
