In the third year of Hoshea son of Elah, king of Israel, Hezekiah the son of Ahaz, king of Judah, became king.

Then David said to all the assembly, “Bless now the Lord your God.” So all the assembly blessed the Lord, the God of their fathers. They bowed down and paid homage to the Lord and the king.

Then Jehoshaphat bowed his face to the ground, and all Judah and those dwelling in Jerusalem fell before the Lord to worship Him.

The entire assembly worshipped, the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded. All of this took place until the burnt offering was finished.

And all the Israelites saw when the fire came down and the glory of the Lord came on the temple, and they bowed their faces low to the ground on the pavement, and they worshipped confessing, “The Lord is good, and His mercy endures forever.”

May all kings bow down before him, all nations serve him.

Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our maker!

Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth!

For it is written: “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God.”
