So Jotham was strengthened because he established his ways before the Lord his God.

And he did what was correct in the eyes of the Lord just as his father David had done.

And he did what was correct in the eyes of the Lord, and he walked in the ways of David his father and did not turn either to the right or left.

Though you play the whore, O Israel, do not let Judah offend. Do not come to Gilgal, or go up to Beth-aven, and do not swear, “As the Lord lives.”

They were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blamelessly.

that you would walk in a manner worthy of God, who has called you to His kingdom and glory.

Finally, brothers, we urge and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as you have learned from us how you ought to walk and to please God, you should excel more and more.
