And it happened that the terror of God was on all the kingdoms of the lands who heard that the Lord had fought against the enemies of Israel.

That it would please God to crush me, that He would let loose His hand and cut me off!

He is wise in heart and mighty in strength. Who has hardened himself against Him and prospered?

Have You not rejected us, O God? Will You not go out with our armies, O God?

They shall be punished with eternal destruction, isolated from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,

“Please forgive the transgression of your handmaid, for the Lord will certainly make my lord a sure house, because my lord fights the battles of the Lord, and evil will not be found in you all your days.
