And Rehoboam slept with his fathers and was buried in the City of David, and Abijah ruled in his place.

Solomon was the father of Rehoboam, Rehoboam the father of Abijah, and Abijah the father of Asa.

In the eighteenth year of King Jeroboam, Abijah became king of Judah.

Then after her he took Maacah the daughter of Absalom. And she bore to him Abijah, Attai, Ziza, and Shelomith.

Solomon’s son was Rehoboam; Abijah was his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,
