Finally, brothers, we urge and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as you have learned from us how you ought to walk and to please God, you should excel more and more.

but sought the God of his father and walked in His commandments, and not according to the deeds of Israel.

The righteous also will hold to his way, and he who has clean hands will be stronger and stronger.

They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be healthy and flourishing,

But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until the full daytime.

Every branch in Me that bears no fruit, He takes away. And every branch that bears fruit, He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

For I did not keep from declaring to you the whole counsel of God.

For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus, on the night in which He was betrayed, took bread.

Now, brothers, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which you have received, and in which you stand.

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Now I, Paul, who am lowly in presence among you but bold toward you while absent, appeal to you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ.

Finally, brothers, rejoice. Be complete, be of good comfort, be of one mind, and live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.

So whether present or absent, we labor that we may be accepted by Him.

As workers together with God, we ask you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

Brothers, if a man is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, watching yourselves, lest you also be tempted.

I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, exhort you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you were called.

But you did not learn about Christ in this manner,

Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, that whether or not I come and see you, I may hear of your activities, that you are standing fast in one spirit, with one mind, striving together for the faith of the gospel,

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all discernment,

I press toward the goal to the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, pleasing to all, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God,

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,

And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all men, even as we do for you.

For you know what commands we gave you through the Lord Jesus.

We ask you, brothers, to acknowledge those who labor among you, and are appointed over you in the Lord, and instruct you.

We are bound to thank God always for you, brothers, as it is fitting, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you abounds toward each other.

Now, brothers, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and concerning our gathering together unto Him, we ask you

Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may quickly spread and be glorified, even as it did with you.

But you, brothers, do not be weary in doing good.

I command you before God and the Lord Jesus Christ and the elect angels that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing by partiality.

I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom:

And without faith it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him.

But do not forget to do good and to share. For with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

I implore you, brothers, to heed this word of exhortation, for I have written to you in few words.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory, both now and forever. Amen.

And whatever we ask, we will receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.
