The adversaries of the Lord will be broken to pieces; He will thunder against them out of heaven. The Lord will judge the ends of the earth. “He will give strength to His king and exalt the horn of His anointed.”

The Lord thundered from heaven, and the Most High uttered His voice.

He will build a house for My name, and I will establish his royal throne forever.

Now therefore, you will say to My servant David: Thus says the Lord of Hosts: I took you from the pasture, from following after the sheep, to be ruler over My people Israel.

Have you an arm like God? Or can you thunder with a voice like Him?

“There will I make the horn of David sprout up; I have prepared a lamp for My anointed.

He has exalted the horn for His people, praise for all His saints, for the Israelites, a people near to Him. Praise the Lord!

The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His anointed, saying,

“I have set My king on Zion, My holy hill.”

You will break them with a rod of iron; you will dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”

Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand.

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.

The king will rejoice in Your strength, O  Lord, and in Your salvation how greatly will he rejoice!

The Lord is the strength of His people, and He is the saving refuge of His anointed.

You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness more than your companions.

For You are the glory of their strength; by Your favor our horn is exalted.

My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him, and in My name his horn shall be exalted.

I will set his hand on the sea and his right hand on the rivers.

Surely, one shall say, “Only in the Lord are righteousness and strength.” Men shall come to him, and all who are incensed at Him shall be ashamed.

On that day I will cause the horn of the house of Israel to spring forth, and I will open your mouth in their midst. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.

“Then the King will say to those at His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you since the foundation of the world.

Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

and has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David,

But as for those enemies of mine, who would not let me reign over them, bring them here and slay them before me.’ ”

how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Indeed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were assembled together against Your holy Son Jesus whom You have anointed,

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive his recompense in the body, according to what he has done, whether it was good or bad.

And now behold the king whom you have chosen and for whom you have asked! Behold, the Lord has set a king over you.

Is it not the wheat harvest today? I will call to the Lord. And He will send thunder and rain, that you may know and see that your wickedness is great, which you have done in the sight of the Lord, by asking for yourselves a king.”

So Samuel called to the Lord. And the Lord sent thunder and rain that day, and all the people greatly feared the Lord and Samuel.

Behold, here I am. Witness against me before the Lord and before His anointed. Whose ox have I taken? Or whose donkey have I taken? Or whom have I defrauded? Whom have I oppressed? Or from whose hand have I received any bribe to blind my eyes with? Indeed I will restore it to you.”

Samuel said to him, “The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you this day, and has given it to a neighbor of yours who is better than you.

The Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him from ruling over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and go. I will send you to Jesse the Bethlehemite, for I have chosen a king for Myself from among his sons.”

As Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel, but the Lord thundered with a great thunder on that day against the Philistines, and confused them. So they were beaten before Israel.
