So Eli said to her, “How long will you be drunk? Put away your wine from you.”
if iniquity is in your hand, put it far away, and do not let wickedness dwell in your tents;
If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up; you will put away iniquity far from your tents.
“How long will you speak these things, and the words of your mouth be like a strong wind?
How long will you assault a man? So you can murder all of you, like a leaning wall and a tottering fence.
Put away from you a deceitful mouth, and put perverse lips far from you.
How long will you sleep, O sluggard? When will you rise from your sleep?
Others mocking said, “These men are full of new wine.”
and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to speak.
Therefore, putting away lying, let every man speak truthfully with his neighbor, for we are members of one another.
Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outbursts, and blasphemies, with all malice, be taken away from you.
