But the king of Aram ordered his thirty-two commanders who had control over his chariots, saying, “Fight neither against small, nor great, but only against the king of Israel.”

Wine is a mocker, strong drink is a brawler; whoever is seduced by it is not wise.

Woe to those who are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink,

Indeed they shall surely assail you fiercely, but not from Me. Whoever assails you shall fall for your sake.

harlotry; wine and new wine take away understanding.

Therefore now they will go at the head of the captives into exile, and the revelry of those who are lounging will vanish.
