So Ahab got up to eat and drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel, and he threw himself down on the ground and put his face between his knees.

The next day as they went on their journey and drew near the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray about the sixth hour.

In these days He went out to the mountain to pray and continued all night in prayer to God.

He went a little farther and fell on the ground and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him.

When He sent the crowds away, He went up into a mountain by Himself to pray. And when evening came, He was there alone.

As I live, says the King whose name is the Lord of Hosts, surely as Tabor is among the mountains, and as Carmel by the sea, so he shall come.

So Samuel called to the Lord. And the Lord sent thunder and rain that day, and all the people greatly feared the Lord and Samuel.
