Now King David was old and advanced in years, and they covered him with clothes, but he could not get warm.

Now David was old and full of days when he made Solomon his son king over Israel.

Again, if two people lie together, they will keep warm; but how can one keep warm by himself?

Now Joshua was old and well advanced in years. The Lord said to him, “You are old and advanced in years, but very much of the land still remains to be possessed.
